I’m a software engineer from Lagos, Nigeria. I wrote my first HTML in 2008 and in the past 12 years, I’ve garnered experience ranging from design on mobile and web, frontend and backend development, devops, talking about technology and everything in-between.
I love good gospel music (this birthed Gospellyricsng) and anything with awesome bass progression. I also love good books (you can check some of my previous readings here), and working out at the gym. In 2019, I added a new label “Model” and I’m exploring this.
My Journey till date
I studied Computer Science at Ladoke Akintola University, Nigeria (Class ’13). In my first year precisely 2008, I started learning HTML & CSS and later worked with Vennote to develop and manage Eckankar Nigeria’s website in 2012 using LAMP stack.
I started fiddling with WordPress in 2012 and built a couple of payment integration plugins and custom themes back then. I started Gospellyricsng in 2014 and it’s beautiful to see the site thriving. You may check out other projects I’ve worked on here.
Ex-CTO and co-founder at Cregital where I led technology, co-manage and work with an amazing team of engineers, and designers that build web-based sites and products. Also, ex-CTO and co-founder at Disha, acquired by Flutterwave in 2021, which I joined to continue building the product.
I’ve played with so many programming languages and tools in the past, some stuck while some didn’t get enough attention.
I met a lovely young lady, Temitayo, in 2012, asked her out in 2013. We got married 5 years later and people are currently disturbing us for a Baby Rufus. I hope you won’t join them. You may keep up with us here or here.
If you want to get in touch with me, you can find out how to reach me on the Contact page but really, Twitter is the best.
